AI Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical AI Analyst to join our team and support pricing optimization efforts in the logistics industry. In this role, you will use advanced AI and machine learning tools to analyze vast datasets related to freight costs, market rates, route efficiency, and customer demand. Your insights will directly influence pricing strategies, competitiveness, and profitability across our logistics network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage AI/ML tools and statistical models to analyze logistics pricing data (e.g., freight rates, lane costs, delivery times, fuel surcharges).
• Build and maintain dashboards and data pipelines to monitor price trends, market fluctuations, and customer behavior.
• Work closely with pricing, operations, and sales teams to provide data-driven insights that support strategic pricing decisions.
• Develop predictive models to forecast market rates, shipping costs, and demand patterns.
• Evaluate and integrate third-party data sources (e.g., market rate indexes, competitor pricing).
• Identify anomalies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings across the logistics chain.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to scale AI solutions and automate repetitive analysis processes.
• Stay current with AI advancements and best practices relevant to pricing and logistics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or AI-related roles (experience in logistics or supply chain is a plus).
• Strong proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost) and AI-based analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, freight logistics, transportation management systems (TMS), or third-party logistics (3PL) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with large-scale data infrastructure (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS).
• Understanding of or willingness to learn economic and market drivers affecting transportation pricing.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or generative AI tools for competitive intelligence.
